Let’s Talk Trash at Benson First Friday

Join us for BFF Omaha First Friday on April 2nd, anytime between 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm to show off your waste management skills.
We’re bringing out the “big cans” and asking YOU to prove you know how to dispose of common household items correctly. Dispose of items using compost, recycling, energy bags, or tossed in the landfill. Winners will be registered to receive a prize from our partners. Also, you’ll be able to meet community members from First Star Fiber, BFF, and Hillside Solutions.
By taking a few minutes to learn the proper way to dispose of waste, you can help reduce pollution, contribute to clean water, conserve limited natural resources and reduce Omaha’s reliance on landfills. Learn what you can do to help make a difference in our environment by learning how to dispose of your waste.
