Conservation Career Conversations – David Corbin

March 30, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

When it comes to environmentalism there’s an extremely colorful palette of individuals that make it all possible, working together in different areas such as sustainability, conservation, renewable energy and so much more to make our area of the world more green.
Conservation Nebraska and The Office of Sustainability at UNO have brought together some of the most inspirational environmentalists in Omaha to investigate how they landed where they did and what keeps them motivated. All of the webinars are completely free to the public!
This week we gladly present David Corbin! David is an emeritus Professor of Health Education/Public Health, School of Health & Kinesiology at UNO. He retired after 31 years. He has also been president of Nebraskans for Solar and the Public Health Association of Nebraska. He is currently teaching Energy Policy at Creighton University and is the Vice-Chair of the Nebraska Sierra Club.
Tune in to learn from a highly experienced advocate and enjoy David’s wonderful sense of humor.
Every month listen in and ask questions about their paths so that you can watch out for similar opportunities in your life to make positive change in our ever so intricate ecosystem. Whether or not you hope to work in the field or volunteer, these individuals will speak towards ways to get involved.
Each month the discussion will be on the same link and we will have specific questions that we ask each participant. You are also welcome to ask whatever questions come to mind, as long as they are appropriate of course.
